The Court of Appeal allows the Government to increase the numbers of Immigrants who can be deported.

The Immigration Court has overturned the court order that blocked the efforts of the Trump Administration to expand the number of immigrants who could be deported in an accelerated process.

The measure that allows for the accelerated deportation of immigrants is known in English as the “Fast Pass Track”, where immigration authorities deport newly arrived undocumented immigrants near the border with Mexico rapidly, but now it will be applied throughout the country for undocumented immigrants , who cannot verify that they have been in US territory for more than 2 weeks.

This measure causes strong criticism among pro-immigrant activists, since immigrants are returned without the opportunity to take their due process and if the undocumented person is detained and has not been in the country for more than 2 years or has proof of it, they may be subject to an express hearing that will decide their future.
