U.S. Will Recognize Validity of Expired Venezuelan Passports for 10 Years.

The U.S. State Department has officially recognized the decision of the Venezuelan National Assembly to extend the validity of expired Venezuelan passports for a period of 10 years. This measure is especially significant for Venezuelans residing in the United States, who will now be able to use their expired passports for a decade, thus facilitating their immigration and identification procedures.

This decree establishes that Venezuelan passports issued before this date will continue to be valid for ten years from the printed expiration date or the last passport extension.

The measure has been welcomed by the Venezuelan community in the United States, who were facing difficulties due to the expiration of their documents.

The extension of passport validity represents a significant relief for thousands of Venezuelans residing in the United States who depend on their passports for various legal and administrative procedures. This measure also facilitates the mobility and security of the Venezuelan community abroad.
