As a service to the student community, and as an ex-president of the Miami Dade College student body some years ago, I am pleased to report that immigrant students known as Dreamers can now apply for the Dreamers USA Scholarship for the 2019 and 2020 courses. The application deadline for this benefit expires on February 28,2019. So far, more than 4000 Scholarships have been granted to those covered under the DACA temporary protection status program.
