The government is currently working on a plan to allow undocumented immigrants to have some form of I.D. and they say they will be issued by the federal government.
Now, what is not clear is how this I.D. will benefit the immigrant. All we know is that the government will allow immigrants, even undocumented immigrants, to have a legal form of I.D. in order to be able to travel inside the United States.
However, they have not clarified if through this idea that immigrant will be entitled to obtain a driver’s license and even a work permit. Now, we will be following up with you on that news. I think it’s a very interesting update from the immigration services, and we’ll definitely bring you all the updates as soon as we get them.
