Emergency Consultation

Emergency Consultation Priority Scheduling

For detentions, upcoming hearings, deportation notices, or other high-risk situations requiring an immediate response.

The emergency consultation is designed for urgent cases that cannot wait for the usual timeline of a standard consultation. It is scheduled for a nearer date than the standard consultation, in person or by phone. The attorney gives it the same attention; what changes is how long you wait to receive it.

How this consultation works

The emergency consultation takes place in person or by phone, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes, and limited availability, because only a few near-term slots are held each week.

In your consultation with the attorney, you will be able to clearly explain your case, your situation, or the request you want to make to Immigration. The attorney will evaluate your case, explain the possible solutions, and the cost of your process.

Emergency consultation policies

  • Cost: $400.00. Consultation fees are non-refundable.
  • Maximum duration: 30 minutes. By appointment only, with limited availability.
  • Once scheduled, the date of your consultation cannot be changed.
  • If your emergency consultation is in person: consultations are attended on a first-come, first-served basis and only the beneficiary of the legal consultation may attend, unless the companion is directly connected to the case or you need to bring an interpreter.
  • If your emergency consultation is by phone: we will make 3 call attempts on the scheduled day; if the call is not successful, the consultation will be considered cancelled and no refund will be issued.
  • Recording the consultation is not permitted.
  • Consultations are offered in Spanish and English only. If you do not speak either of these languages, you must bring your own interpreter.
  • If you do not show up at the agreed day and time, the consultation will be canceled with no refund; you will need to pay for a new consultation.
  • The consultation is directly with Attorney Jesus Reyes, with priority scheduling: it is booked sooner than a standard consultation.
