If you qualify for both, keep both cases or apply for both if you can. You do not have to pick one or the other. In fact, you can be a beneficiary of both cases.
It is important to keep in mind that you do not know what will happen to your asylum case. You could win it, but it could also be denied. Because of this, it is wise to have a second legal option to make sure you have a way to regularize your status in this country.
