Now, in order for a family member that is not Cuban to be eligible to apply for Cuban adjustment status, it is important that the main applicant fulfills the following requirements. First, the person must have come in legally due to the country.
Must have been a native legally to their country. This person must have Cuban citizenship and this person must have been in the country for a year and the date meaning that this person must have been physically in the country for a year and day. Now, if the main applicant satisfies these requirements, then the dependents, meaning the family members, could apply for Cuban adjustment status so long as the family members came legally to the country.
