The Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court ruled overwhelmingly that people who were removed from the country and re-entered without authorization are not eligible for bond.
Although the affected individuals, after passing a reasonable fear interview, are entitled to apply for relief to stay in the country under the United Nations Convention Against Torture. The option of being able to defend the case on U.S. soil and outside of an immigration jail is not an option.
