Order of Deportation in Absentia removed

Twenty years ago, Mr. Martinez was given a deportation order in absentia by an immigration judge for failing to appear at his court hearing.

During all that time, he thought that his status would not change and that he would remain undocumented and ordered deported. However, Mr. Martinez was encouraged to try to remove his deportation.
