Go to the CEAC (Consular Electronic Application Center) System.
Visit the official website of the Department of State:
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx
Enter the following information:
Application number (DS-160): Found on your DS-160 form.
Consulate location: The city where you had your interview.
Passport number.
First 5 letters of your last name.
Verify the code shown.
Click "Submit."
Possible results:
"Approved": Visa approved and being printed.
"Administrative Processing": Requires additional review (may take days or weeks).
"Issued": Visa ready to be delivered.
"Refused": Application denied (an explanation will be sent by mail).
