The U.S. Department of State Visa Bulletin for July 2026 shows that the F2A category is current and up to date. This means that people who are in the United States in lawful status —as a tourist, student, or another defined status— and who are unmarried minor children or spouses of a legal permanent resident, may be able to apply for their green card (adjustment of status) this month.
This is not an opportunity that is always available: the bulletin does not always remain current for this category. If you or a family member qualifies, this is a good time to evaluate your legal options. Remember that every case is different, and consulting an immigration attorney is recommended.
