If you have TPS, it’s important to know until when you can renew your driver’s license:
🇭🇹 Haiti: If your work permit or TPS expired on any of these dates: July 22, 2017; January 22, 2018; July 22, 2019; January 2, 2020; January 4, 2021; October 4, 2021; December 31, 2022; February 3, 2023; June 30, 2024; or August 3, 2024, you will be able to renew your license until February 3, 2026.
🇭🇳🇳🇮 Honduras & Nicaragua: until November 18, 2025 (if your TPS was valid or pending as of November 6, 2023).
🇸🇻 El Salvador: until March 9, 2026, or in some cases until September 9, 2026. Keeping your license valid not only allows you to drive legally, but also provides you with proper identification in the U.S.
