Deportation Priority Policies Temporarily Blocked

A Federal Court has temporarily blocked President Joe Biden's decision to change deportation priorities. For several months, deportation efforts have focused on individuals who pose a threat to national security, with only those individuals, or people with multiple prior deportations, being the target of removal. However, following this decision, immigration attorneys and prosecutors are required to follow the law and attempt to deport individuals who, simply because they lack immigration status, may be deported.
