Court decides to end TPS for Honduras, Nicaragua, and Nepal

Yesterday, February 9, the Court of Appeals decided that TPS will not continue for individuals from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Nepal while the case remains in litigation.

This decision immediately changes the situation for thousands of people who were protected under this program.

Now, we await official guidance from the Department of Homeland Security regarding what will happen to the work permits and the status of those who had already been granted TPS.

This case could still reach the Ninth Circuit and even the U.S. Supreme Court, meaning the final outcome has not yet been determined.
