January 10, 2024 marks the start of the re-registration period for Venezuelans under the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program in the United States. This period will last 60 days, until March 10.
It is essential that undocumented Venezuelan immigrants who have been in the U.S. since March 8, 2021, or earlier, and who are under the TPS program, re-register to maintain their right to remain and their protection from removal for an additional 18 months, until July 10, 2025. It is important to note that individuals with felonies or two misdemeanors could lose their TPS eligibility. USCIS also warns about the risk of scams and recommends seeking legal advice only from licensed attorneys or accredited representatives.Do you need help with an immigration case?
