The Immigration and Citizenship Service (USCIS) has suspended the fast processing of the H1-B visa for professionals. The objective is, according to a press release, to reduce processing time, and, specifically, to deal with requests that have been delayed for a while and to prioritize renovations that have been pending for 8 months.<\/p>\n

The suspension will be in effect until September 10. Only those requests in which the applicant shows that it is an emergency situation that could cause serious economic losses, or could present humanitarian reasons for this, among other motives, are exempt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
