Stephen Allen, Associate Attorney, graduated from the University of Miami: School of Law in December 2013. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since his admission to practice Law in April 2014. Attorney Allen has handled numerous cases in the Florida State Courts system and at the various levels of the Federal Court system. He is an admitted member of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Attorney Allen has filed a pro bono Petition for a Writ of Certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court in a naturalization case.
Immigration cases have been the primary focus of Attorney Allen’s legal career. In law school, he was a clinician at the UM Immigration Clinic where his client received an approval under the U.N. Convention Against Torture to remain in the United States. That experience led Attorney Allen down the path of continuing to help people obtain lawful status in the United States. His languages include Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
In his personal time, Stephen is a basketball referee as well as an avid chess player.
