Attention Miami Dade College and Liberty University School of Law students!

The Jesus Reyes Law Academic excellence and Community Service Award and the 2021 Jesus Reyes Art contest is now available!

To support future leaders of our community we will be offering the following scholarships to current Miami Dade College Students and current Liberty University School of law students.

Miami Dade College

1st Scholarship

Jesus Reyes Law Academic excellence and Community Service Award

$3,000 grant to any MDC student, regardless of the campus where the student is enrolled and at the discretion of an MDC designated committee has:

  1. Shown exceptional academic ability
  2. Has substantial community involvement
  3. Open to all MDC students including: vocational students, out-of-state students, international students, night-students and in-state-resident students.
 

2nd Scholarship

Jesus Reyes Law Art Contest

$1,000 grant for the winner for an art competition where MDC students will have the opportunity to submit an art piece (it can be a digital drawing or a high resolution picture of a drawing) reflecting the idea of America being a land of opportunity for immigrants around the world. ” America the Land of Opportunity”

  1. The winner of the contest must be decided by an MDC designated committee.
  2. All contest participants must fill out a copy right release form
  3. Open to all MDC students including: vocational students, out-of-state students, international students, night-students and in-state-resident students.

Liberty University School of Law

Jesus Reyes Law Academic excellence and Community Service Award

$3,000 grant to a Liberty Law student, selected at the discretion of a designated law school committee, to a student that meets the following general criteria:

  1. Shown exceptional academic ability.
  2. Has substantial community involvement.
  3. Has shown exceptional moral character through his/her faith in Christ.
