The blockade imposed by a minor court in Arizona and California on the regulation issued by the Trump Administration since July 15, was overturned on September 11 by the US Supreme Court.
As is known, the Federal Government regulation states that migrants cannot apply for asylum in the US without first requesting it through what is called a “Third Safe Country.” In addition, only those immigrants who have been denied asylum in those territories and who are victims of human trafficking can apply to this benefit on US soil; whom will not be placed in a rapid deportation process and sent to their countries of origin.
The order of the highest US Court that annuls the decision of the minor court allows the Trump Administration regulation to be applied at the national level while determining the legality of said regulation.
